Product Description:

AUGJET®-CV combines the well-known broad-spectrum antibiotic Amoxicillin with the β-lactamase inhibitor Clavulanic Acid. This powerful duo is designed to treat a variety of bacterial infections, especially those caused by resistant organisms that produce beta-lactamase enzymes.

Commonly prescribed for upper and lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, ENT infections, and gynecological infections, AUGJET®-CV is a first-line choice in outpatient antimicrobial therapy.

Key Benefits:

  • Effective against beta-lactamase producing resistant bacteria

  • Strong action against infections of throat, lungs, sinuses, ears, and skin

  • Helps prevent recurrence of persistent UTIs and bronchitis

  • Enhanced bioavailability and good gastrointestinal tolerance

  • Recommended for both community-acquired and some hospital-acquired infections

How It Works:

  • Amoxicillin is a penicillin-class antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death

  • Clavulanic Acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes, which bacteria produce to resist amoxicillin
Together, they expand the spectrum of antibacterial activity, making AUGJET®-CV highly effective against a wide variety of organisms.

How to Use:

  • Take one tablet twice daily, or as directed by your physician

  • Best taken at the start of a meal to improve absorption and minimize stomach upset

Safety Advice:

  • May cause mild nausea or diarrhea, which usually subsides

  • Avoid alcohol during the course

  • Use only under medical supervision

  • Not recommended in patients with a known penicillin allergy

  • Use with caution in liver dysfunction or renal impairment
