- Dapagliflozin is an antidiabetic medication, it works by removing excess sugar (glucose) from your body through urine.
- Metformin works by lowering sugar production in the liver
How it works?
Dapagliflozin and metformin combination is used together. They provide better control of blood sugar with proper diet and exercise to treat type 2 diabetes. It is also used to lower the risk of hospitalization for heart failure in patients with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular (heart or blood vessel) disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors
Uses of ZEMDAP-M tablets :
Used to treat the following conditions
- Diabetes Type 2
- Diabetes Mellitus
- Diabetic Coma (in DM Type II)
- Diabetic Ketoacidosis (in DM Type II)
- Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection Fraction
How to use ZEMDAP- M tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zemdap-M Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
