Product Description:

AUGJET® CV Dry Syrup is a broad-spectrum oral antibiotic designed for children, combining Amoxicillin, a penicillin-class antibiotic, with Clavulanate, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This combination effectively treats a wide range of respiratory, ENT, urinary, and soft tissue infections, including those caused by resistant bacteria that produce beta-lactamase enzymes.

Key Benefits:

  • Broad antibacterial coverage, including beta-lactamase producing strains

  • Trusted for upper respiratory tract infections, otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, skin infections, and UTIs

  • Pediatric-friendly flavored suspension for better taste and compliance

  • Once reconstituted, provides accurate dosing for children based on weight

How It Works:

  • Amoxicillin kills bacteria by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall.

  • Clavulanic Acid protects Amoxicillin from degradation by beta-lactamase enzymes, thus restoring its antibacterial activity even against resistant pathogens.
Together, they offer a synergistic effect in treating tough infections.

How to Use:

  • Shake the bottle well before reconstitution. Add boiled and cooled water up to the mark and shake vigorously.

  • Administer as per the doctor’s prescription, usually 2–3 times a day based on the child’s body weight and age.

  • Use the provided measuring spoon or dropper for accurate dosing.

  • Store in the refrigerator after reconstitution. Discard after 7 days.

Safety Advice:

  • Complete the full course as prescribed, even if the child feels better

  • May cause mild diarrhea, stomach upset, or rash — consult a pediatrician if severe

  • Do not use for viral infections (cold/flu)

  • Not suitable for children with a history of penicillin allergy

Precautions:

  • Shake well before each use

  • Ensure the child completes the prescribed duration to prevent resistance

  • Monitor for signs of allergic reactions, such as rash, itching, or swelling

  • Use within 7 days of preparation
