Product Description:
AUGJET® CV Dry Syrup is a broad-spectrum oral antibiotic designed for children, combining Amoxicillin, a penicillin-class antibiotic, with Clavulanate, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This combination effectively treats a wide range of respiratory, ENT, urinary, and soft tissue infections, including those caused by resistant bacteria that produce beta-lactamase enzymes.
Key Benefits:
-
Broad antibacterial coverage, including beta-lactamase producing strains
-
Trusted for upper respiratory tract infections, otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, skin infections, and UTIs
-
Pediatric-friendly flavored suspension for better taste and compliance
-
Once reconstituted, provides accurate dosing for children based on weight
How It Works:
-
Amoxicillin kills bacteria by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall.
-
Clavulanic Acid protects Amoxicillin from degradation by beta-lactamase enzymes, thus restoring its antibacterial activity even against resistant pathogens.
Together, they offer a synergistic effect in treating tough infections.
How to Use:
-
Shake the bottle well before reconstitution. Add boiled and cooled water up to the mark and shake vigorously.
-
Administer as per the doctor’s prescription, usually 2–3 times a day based on the child’s body weight and age.
-
Use the provided measuring spoon or dropper for accurate dosing.
-
Store in the refrigerator after reconstitution. Discard after 7 days.
Safety Advice:
-
Complete the full course as prescribed, even if the child feels better
-
May cause mild diarrhea, stomach upset, or rash — consult a pediatrician if severe
-
