Product Description:
ZAPTOMYCIN® 300 is a potent oral lincosamide antibiotic, containing Clindamycin 300 mg, used to treat serious gram-positive bacterial infections and anaerobic infections. It is highly effective in skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, osteomyelitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and certain ENT and intra-abdominal infections.
It’s a preferred choice when penicillin is not suitable or when resistance to first-line antibiotics is encountered.

How It Works:
Clindamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, preventing peptide chain formation. It is bacteriostatic, but can be bactericidal at high concentrations in certain infections.
It is especially useful against anaerobic bacteria and Streptococcus/Staphylococcus species, including some MRSA strains.
How to Use:

Take one capsule every 6 to 8 hours as prescribed by your physician

Swallow whole with water; do not open or chew

Best taken with a full glass of water and can be taken with or without food
